Brian is a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group. Brian practices before administrative agencies and state and federal trial and appellate courts. Brian's litigation practice focuses on general commercial litigation, environmental claims, including claims under CERCLA, insurance coverage, unfair trade practices, copyright, tax, products liability, securities, fraud, arbitration, foreclosures, bankruptcy, and civil rights matters.
Brian joined the firm in 1992 and became a principal in 1999. Prior to joining the firm's Litigation Practice Group, Brian was a member of the firm's Environmental Practice Group.
Brian received his B.S. (1988) cum laude from the California Institute of Technology and his J.D. (1992) cum laude from Harvard Law School. Brian is a member of the Connecticut bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Tax Court. He also has been admitted to handle specific litigation in the federal courts of Indiana and Utah and before the State of Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board.
