Don is a member of the firm's Trust and Estates Practice Group. Don's practice covers every facet of estate planning, including taxes, employee benefits, insurance, retirement, business planning, and the preparation of a wide array of estate planning documents. Don also counsels fiduciaries and family members about the administration of decedents' estates and inter vivos and testamentary trusts.
Don joined the firm in 1981 and became a principal in 1984. Before joining the firm, Don practiced in New York at the firm of Breed, Abbott & Morgan, where he also focused in the area of trust and estates.
Don received his B.A. (1966) cum laude from Villanova University and his J.D. (1972) from Columbia University Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Don is a member of the Connecticut and New York bars.
